John Erik Setsaas has been working with identities for more than 20 years. He has in-depth knowledge in the areas of security and identity management. His current role is Identity Architect at Signicat AS, working with identity assurance, authentication, digital signatures and seals.

Before joining Signicat, John Erik worked as chief development architect for SAP Identity Management. He has been presenting at international conferences, like SAP TechEd, EEMA and ISSE.

In addition he has also worked as assistant professor at Buskerud University College, teaching Electronic Commerce, identity services and security.

Darryl Knopp rejoined in June 2017 as Senior Director of FICO Advisors Digital Practice at FICO. He designs and devises visionary approaches to business challenges, relying on years of experience working with clients around the world, leveraging new data science expertise, proven analytics techniques and FICO’s leading platforms, to drive success and improved performance for our Clients.During his initial stint at FICO, 2002-2005, Darryl was a critical driver of FICO’s Base strategies, FICO® TRIAD™ Transaction Scores, and other initiatives.
Darryl has Bachelor of Science degree with a Major in Actuarial Science and a Minor in Commerce from the University of Calgary, Calgary, AB Canada. A native of Canada, Darryl started his career holding roles from teller to Director of Risk Management for TD Canada Trust and PC Bank. In the later roles in risk management he has significant experience in credit product launches, risk based pricing, and predictive model development. Darryl is a frequent speaker at industry events including FICO World and CSRSA conferences.
Before joining FICO, Darryl held many key roles at financial institutions through North America and Asia, including Chief Risk Officer of Grow Financial, a Canadian Fintech specializing in online lending and building software for financial institutions. This included development of credit strategies, management of underwriting and fraud prevention teams, compliance and privacy strategies, along with technology security. In this role, he also held Chief Anti-Money Laundering Officer, Chief Privacy Officer, and Chief Information Security Officer.
Darryl was also CRO of Mekong Development Bank, a mid-size Vietnamese bank specializing in consumer and SME lending. This included the creation of credit and underwriting strategies, market risk, operational risk, portfolio management, collections, and Basel readiness. During his time there, Darryl co-managed an implementation of all core banking and lending systems for consumer and SME
Darryl also spent significant time in Japan, where he was initially Head of Risk and Lending for Shinsei Bank, a mid-size Japanese bank focused on retail banking products. This role was focused on growing the mortgage footprint, significantly reducing manual intervention, launching a consumer credit card, bringing the bank to Basel readiness and working with the JFSA on the Basel review. In this role, Darryl also had P&L responsibility for all lending products, including product marketing, pricing and product design. Included in his time in Japan, Darryl was Head of Risk for Asia for Lehman Brothers.

Benoit Grangé is OneSpan’s Chief Technology Evangelist. He is focused on sharing OneSpan’s technology vision and deep industry insights with customers, partners and the broader global financial services market. In his role, Benoit helps build critical mass in support of OneSpan’s solutions to the technical standards in the marketplace around customer-centric anti-fraud solutions rooted in identity verification and management. His extensive experience in product management, product strategy, and leading engineering teams helped OneSpan generate significant growth during his tenure as Chief Technology Officer. He holds an MMath from the University of Bordeaux.

Machine learning engineer with a demonstrated history of working in artificial intelligence and numerical modeling. He is highly skilled in Python and Matlab/GNU Octave. Additionally, Martin has a strong scientific background with a PhD in Oceanography and a Master’s Degree focused in Astronomy and Astrophysics from Université de Liège.

Jaime studied Agricultural Engineering and has developed a career of more than 25 years’ experience in asset- and wealth- management. Jaime has led several initiatives to help develop the FinTech industry. His fine leadership skills and ability to embrace change spread across the entire TechRules team through being not only competitive in a FinTech world driven by change, but also by keeping ahead of the curve.

He studied Business Administration in Karlsruhe, Germany. Then he worked 10 years for the Generali Group in Germany with responsibility for several huge distribution areas. In 2002 he joined Creditplus Bank AG in Stuttgart, a subsidiary of the Credit Agricole Group, as Chief Representative, responsible for the branch network, marketing and the digital activities. In 2011 he took on the responsibility for the strategic marketing department of Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance in Paris. In this time he was responsible, alongside others, for the digital transformation project of the Group. In November 2015 he joined Crédit Agricole Italy as Chief of Digital Transformation and steered the transformation process for 4 years. In August 2019 he returned to Creditplus Bank with the aim to restructure the back-office activities under consideration of modern technologies (chatbot, RPA, …).

Vilhjálmur Alvar Halldórsson is the head of digital development and open banking at Arion bank. He holds a B.A. in Psychology and an executive MBA degree. Vilhjalmur has over 15 years of experience in the financial industry, including managerial experience in digital banking and transformation in both Arion bank, Íslandsbanki and Glitnir. Orest’s background is theoretical physics, he obtained a Ph.D. degree in Computational Materials Science. Orest spent most of his career designing and implementing mathematical models, analytical tools and methodology for risk management – covering areas like stress testing, scaling models for interest rate risk, historical and Monte Carlo VaR simulations, Incremental Risk Charge, idiosyncratic risk and machine-learning models for credit risk assessment and financial crime detection. Currently, Orest leads one of the teams introducing data science and machine learning technology in various parts of the organization, mainly focusing on credit area.

Klement A. Rasmussen is Global Head of Fraud Strategy & Execution at Danske Bank. Together with a diverse mix of strategists, communicators and project managers – he plays a key role in setting and directing the strategic agenda for Danske Bank’s fraud prevention and detection activities.

The team launched its first native IOS app already in November 2010, one week after the Ipad was first launched in the Nordics and has since then continued to digitalize and transform both customer journeys and internal processes with strong results.

Etienne Yuan is Head of Ikano Bank’s Innovation Lab, where a multidisciplinary team of design, business, tech, and data science experts tackle some of the most challenging questions the bank faces, applying rapid prototyping and design thinking principles.

Prior to joining Ikano, he worked in tech startups, the public sector and large multinationals such as Sony, with roles in Marketing, CRM, and Product & Service Development, where he had P&L responsibility for Sony Mobile’s Content and Services businesses globally.

Etienne has an undergraduate degree in Economics from National Chengchi University in Taiwan and Master degrees in Business Administration from the London Business School and Information Systems from the London School of Economics.

Kristian Luoma runs innovation operations at OP – Finland’s biggest Financial Group. Kristian has created services for millions of customers, including the award-winning Pivo Mobile Wallet and many others. He hosts a podcast called ’Labs’, is an expert in lean service creation and is public speaker about startusps, innovation and impact of technology to businesses. Kristian’s background lies in startup world and Finnish Nokia, which gives him a different viewpoint and expertise to financial disruption, as well as digitalization.

Vanja is an IT Banking Expert who helps teams in Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) Group across CEE find meaning behind the Agile hype, focusing on improving communication and fostering collaboration between Business and IT and delivering meaningful results to RBI Group.

Vanja currently works in the Advanced Analytics and Intelligence Transformation Tribe as Agile Coach and leads the RBI Group Community for Data Science.

Before this switch, Vanja had a rich 15-year career in RBI Group in various roles, from Software Engineer and Project Manager, to Team Lead and later held Scrum Master and Product Owner roles across multiple business areas. He was one of the frontrunners transforming the way of working and introducing agile at scale in RBI Group.

Vanja holds a Master’s degree in Engineering and is a certified Scrum Master and Product Owner.

In his free time, Vanja enjoys scuba diving, snowboarding and travelling the world.
